Catarina moderates for the EU Commission, the Swedish Government, corporations, local municipalities, and universities. She is also content director at A Sustainable Tomorrow and co-founder of the global climate NGO Our Kids´Climate.
Andreas Schierenbeck is a Senior Vice President and Executive Officer at Hitachi, Ltd. He is also the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) at Hitachi Energy. Andreas joined the company in July 2024 from HH2E, a new green-hydrogen production company where he was co-founder and board member. Previously, he worked as CEO of Uniper from 2019 to 2021, where he launched the company’s decarbonization strategy. Prior to that, he was the CEO of Thyssenkrupp Elevator, where he led the transformation of the company into a global leader leveraging digital technology from 2013 to 2018. Between 1992 and 2012, Andreas held various management positions within Siemens, including President and CEO of Siemens Building Technologies in the United States between 2010 and 2012 and Senior Vice President in the Siemens electric utility sector in Switzerland. He holds an MSc in Electrical Engineering from Technische Universität Dresden and an Advanced Management Certificate from Harvard University.
Sandrine Dixson-Declève is an international and European climate, energy, sustainable development, sustainable finance, complex systems thought leader. She is currently the Co-President of the Club of Rome and divides her time between lecturing, facilitating change in business and policy models and advisory work. She holds several advisory positions for the European Commission: Chair, Expert Group on Economic and Societal Impact of Research & Innovation (ESIR); Assembly Member, Climate Mitigation & Adaptation Mission (DGR&I); TEG Sustainable Finance Taxonomy and Sustainable Finance Platform (DGFISMA); United Nations: Food Summit Action Track 5 Resilience and for companies/organisations/institutes such as BMW, UBM, Climate KIC, UCL-Bartlett School of Enviornment and the IEEP. Sandrine is also a Senior Associate and faculty member of the Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership (CISL) and a Senior Associate for E3G, Ambassador, for the Energy Transition Commission (ETC) and WEALL. In 2017 Sandrine co-founded the Women Enablers Change Agent Network (WECAN).
Professor Gail Whiteman is an expert on global risk arising from the systemic changes occurring in the natural environment. Additionally, she is the founder of Arctic Basecamp, founding director of Climate Basecamp and Professor of Sustainability at the University of Exeter’s Business School (UK). She has over 60 peer-reviewed scientific papers, including in prestigious journals Nature, Nature Communication, and the Academy of Management Journal. Professor Whiteman is an experienced moderator at events including Reuters Impact in 2022 and the World Economic Forum in Davos. She is actively involved in building science-based targets collective business action, including those for a future low-carbon economy.
Angela Hultberg is a Global Sustainability Director at Kearney, advising clients on sustainability strategy and adoption with a specific focus on the automotive, transport and retail sectors, as well as a variety of managerial roles driving and shaping sustainable strategic directions tailored for Kearney’s valued clients. Prior to joining Kearney, Angela was the global Head of Sustainable Mobility at Ingka group (formerly IKEA Group), focusing on reducing co-worker and customer travel emissions, in addition to setting ambitious goals for zero emissions home deliveries for the brand. Over her career, Angela has gained a wealth of multi-sector sustainability experience, and she was appointed Road Transport Lead for the COP26 Climate Champions team. While a Climate Champion, Angela spearheaded initiatives to accelerate the decarbonization of the transport industry, drawing on her experience with setting IKEA’s goals for zero emission home deliveries.
Andrew Prag is the Managing Director for Policy at the We Mean Business Coalition, a global nonprofit coalition working with the world’s most influential businesses to accelerate action on climate change. He has 20 years’ experience on climate change spanning public and private sectors, including 12 years at the OECD and the IEA, and previously in the private sector with Camco Clean Energy and Royal Dutch Shell.
Johan Falk is a leader and entrepreneur in exponential strategies for climate and business. Falk is the CEO and Co-founder of Exponential Roadmap Initiative, with the mission to accelerate exponential climate action. Falk is the co-lead author of Exponential Roadmap and 1.5°C Business Playbook. Falk is a former Senior Innovation Fellow at Stockholm Resilience Centre and Future Earth. Falk was one of the initiators of the Global Carbon Law idea, together with Owen Gaffney and Johan Rockström, inspired by Moore's Law. Further, Falk was part of Intel Corporation 2006-2018, responsible for Intel IoT Ignition Lab and heading up the Intel Edge Cloud Game Changer program for 5G networks. Falk received the Intel Global Design Win of the Year 2010 for accelerating the telecom business exponentially to a multi-billion dollar business.

Rockström is an internationally recognized scientist on global sustainability issues, who led the development of the new Planetary Boundaries framework for human development in the current era of rapid global change at the Stockholm Resilience Centre. He is a leading scientist on global water resources, with about 25 years of experience from applied water research in tropical regions, and more than 150 research publications in fields ranging from applied land and water management to global sustainability. Aside from his research helping to guide policy, Rockström consults several governments and business networks. He also acts as an advisor for sustainable development issues at noteworthy international meetings, such as the World Economic Forum, the United Nations Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN) and the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change Conferences (UNFCCC). Supplementary, he chairs the advisory board for the EAT Foundation and the Earth League.
Shashank Nigam is on a mission to preserve the magic of flying. He is the founder and CEO of SimpliFlying. Having consulted for more than 120 airlines and airports over 18 years, Nigam is a frequent keynote speaker and has been widely featured in major media outlets like The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal and the BBC. His first book, SOAR, was an Amazon bestseller and is currently being taught to Master's students at Cranfield University (UK) and Embry-Riddle (USA). Sustainability in the Air is his second book that is being taught at MIT. He is the host of a leading podcast with the same name. A Canadian, he lives in Boston with his wife and two young daughters. Tim has more than 25 years research experience, focused on modelling of the biosphere, climate, biogeochemical cycles, and associated tipping points. Tim is renowned for his work identifying climate tipping points, which informed the setting of the 1.5C climate target, associated net zero targets, and nationally determined contributions. He works with policymakers and businesses helping them assess the risks of climate change and nature loss and highlighting the opportunities for ‘positive tipping points’ that can accelerate change towards net zero.
Executive Director of Oyá Institute and Ambassador of the Arctic Basecamp Kamila works for almost a decade building bridges between grassroots initiatives and large organization to address the biggest social and environmental challenges of our time.
Mayumi Sato is a PhD candidate and Gates Cambridge scholar at the University of Cambridge. Over the past seven years, she has worked in advocacy and organizing around reforestation, gender and social equity in forest landscapes, and land reclamation and resettlement in Asia, North America, and Europe. Her research areas focus on global environmental justice and stewardship, and use participatory methods to inform greater political and social policy and advocacy changes. Mayumi is a National Geographic Explorer, Arctic Basecamp Climate Science Ambassador, and serves on the UN Women Asia and the Pacific 30 for 2030 Network.
Sofia Corradi is a Brazilian PhD candidate in Environmental Systems Analysis and Modeling at the Federal University of Minas Gerais. Her research centers on modeling multifunctional ecosystem restoration in the Atlantic Forest biome. With a focus on Earth system sciences, her expertise includes land use and land cover, hydrology, and climatology. She is also actively involved in environmental advocacy at local and international levels.
Adam Kahane is a Director of Reos Partners, an international social enterprise that helps people move forward together on their most important and intractable issues. He is a leading organizer, designer and facilitator of processes through which business, government, and civil society leaders can work together to address such challenges. He is a Member of the Order of Canada, was named a “Social Innovator of the Year” by the Schwab Foundation for Social Entrepreneurship, and is the author of Solving Tough Problems, Power and Love, Transformative Scenario Planning, Collaborating with the Enemy, Facilitating Breakthrough, and Everyday Habits for Transforming Systems.
Michael Shannon is a two-time Oscar-nominated actor, having starred in films such as Revolutionary Road, Nocturnal Animals, The Shape of Water, The Bikeriders, Bullet Train, and many more. In Joshua Oppenheimer's new film, ‘The End’, alongside Tilda Swinton, Michael plays a former oil tycoon dealing with his guilt in destroying the planet.
Katarina is the Head of Impact and Transformation at the Exponential Roadmap Initiative. She has an extensive background as a leader Climate & Sustainability, Business Innovation, Climate Policy and strategic transformation. Previous roles include Chief Climate Policy Officer in the Climate Fintech company Doconomy, Head of Innovation and Incubation at EY Nordics, having worked across a wide range of org’s – from startups to middle-sized and large Nordic and Global companies, leading roles in the Swedish well recognized Climate and sustainability consulting agency 2050. Her background in climate issues dates 25 years back, as a youth delegate at COP 3 in Kyoto, with roles in business and policy, the last 10 years focusing on future-proofing strategies and business models.
Nandini Wilcke is the co-founder and Chief Operating Officer of CarbonPool, a Zurich-based carbon insurance solutions provider. Prior to co-founding CarbonPool, Nandini worked for 13 years in various roles at the Allianz Group in Germany and in Africa, including as special assistant to the Group CEO and General Counsel and Regional Head of M&A for Allianz Africa. She also served on the board of directors of Allianz's subsidiary in Kenya. Nandini earned her undergraduate and law degrees at Columbia University and a Master's degree at the University of Oxford, and spent the first years of her career practicing commercial real estate law at Shearman & Sterling LLP in New York.
Storm Lewis is a scientist and artist with over seven years of experience in food sovereignty research across the U.S., Malawi, Morocco, and Ecuador. As an advocate of food sovereignty for Black, Indigenous, and People of Color farmers, Storm uses art and science to drive climate action. Storm holds a Bachelor of Arts from Smith College and a Master of Environmental Science from the Yale School of the Environment.
Environmental Innovation Leader & Science Advocate Karolina Lisslö Gylfe, Secretary general at WePlanet, a modern environmental organization spanning 18 countries in Europe, Africa, Asia and Australia that champions science-based solutions to global challenges. Combining natural science expertise with social innovation and science communication, she transforms environmental science into actionable change. Her work bridges the critical gap between scientific evidence and public understanding, particularly in climate action. As a biologist and ecologist by education, she brings the science to environmental advocacy while ensuring solutions are equitable and accessible across different socioeconomic contexts. Her track record includes leading environmental legal actions and developing innovative sustainability solutions.
Mariah Seater is a dedicated Doctor of Public Health candidate with a focus on health policy, equity, and advocacy in Arctic health systems. With extensive experience in research and community-based initiatives, she specializes in addressing the unique health challenges faced by Indigenous and rural populations in the Arctic. Mariah’s work integrates legal epidemiology, maternal and child health, and social determinants of health to drive evidence-based policy solutions. Her expertise contributes to advancing equitable and sustainable health and wellness in underserved Arctic communities.
Delphine has 20 years of experience in lending, capital markets, global markets, and sustainable finance. Her specialist knowledge includes working on sustainable capital markets and blended finance transactions with development finance institutions, developing sustainability-focused investment solutions for institutional investors, and the financing and risk management of infrastructure and energy projects. Her career has included commercial, technical, and leadership roles at BNP Paribas and Société Générale. Delphine holds a MPhil’s degree in Finance and Economics from Paris Dauphine University and a certificate in Positive Impact Business from the Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership.
Stuart is primarily responsible for communications and engagement within Volvo Cars’ Global Sustainability Team. Stuart has been driving the sustainability agenda across the company since he joined in 2016. This includes the development of Volvo’s present strategy, focused on climate action, the circular economy, and ethical and responsible business. He is a passionate believer that a strong focus on sustainability is essential to the future success and resilience of any business. Before joining Volvo Cars, he was a British diplomat for 16 years.
As Global Head of Sustainability, Robert has been driving the company strategy towards innovative, sustainable business models. Robert considers climate change the most important topic of our time. He plays a key role in formulating and successfully implementing Philips’ corporate strategy aimed at sustainable development, making healthcare accessible and affordable worldwide with energy efficient and circular solutions. He is passionate about the potential for technology and collaboration to address sustainable development challenges and to create long term value for the world.
James is a marine ecologist focused on understanding how marine ecosystems are responding to the Anthropocene. This research has taken him from the frozen seas of the Gulf of St Lawrence studying seals, to deep field expeditions in Antarctica to study snow petrels. James’ research into the migration of harp seals across the changing Arctic Ocean featured in the recent BBC series Frozen Planet II. Passionate about bringing science to a broader audience, James aims to inspire action to address the twin crises of biodiversity loss and climate change through his role as Scientist in Residence at Arctic Basecamp.

With expertise spanning climate finance, emerging technologies, and environmental law, she champions bold solutions that center marginalized communities and drive systemic change. A visionary Afro-futurist and unapologetic disruptor, Jacquelyn embodies resilience, purpose, and an unwavering commitment to building a beloved, sustainable future.
Experienced sustainable finance specialist with a demonstrated history in developing innovative financial instruments that combine profit and purpose. Lecturer and Public Speaker. He also served as Finance Fellow in the UN High-Level Climate Champion Team and he is a Global Shaper of the World Economic Forum.
Let's get it done, and make great business out of it. That is Mattias Goldmann's approach to sustainability and climate. He is a Senior Sustainability Advisor, and was Chief Sustainability Officer at Sweco until August 2021 when leaving for independent work in Bangkok, linked to the Swedish Embassy. Mattias was previously CEO of the green and liberal think tank Fores, with the 2030-secretariat for a fossil independent transport sector. Mattias was named Sweden's Most influential in sustainability issues, 2016, and runner-up Opinion Maker of the Year, 2017, when he was also knighted by the French government for his work against climate change. He was earlier named "future politician of the year", which shows that the future is hard to predict - he left party politics shortly after that. Mattias was born in Geneva, has lived in Chile and Kenya, mainly resides in Stockholm but currently in Bangkok.
