Dino Talks episode VII
We Don’t Have Time and UNDP are proud to present Dino Talks VII, the seventh episode in a series of 10 about fossil fuel subsidies.
Today, oil-based fertilizers, pesticides and herbicides still dominate in agriculture. Too often, they are supplied from energy intensive mining operations and long supply chains with heavy carbon footprints invariably supported by subsidized fossil fuels.
Could we make agriculture more efficient, less polluting and more careful of scarce resources, if fossil fuel subsidies were managed down and innovations are given a better chance to compete and succeed?
