Why Do We Still Subsidize Fossil Fuels?

Dino Talks episode I

We Don't Have Time
UNDP

(Nearly) Everyone says it’s Crazy — Why Do We Still Subsidize Fossil Fuels?

We Don't Have Time and UNDP are proud to present the first episode in a series of 10 in-depth table talks on the subject of fossil fuel subsidies.

According to the IMF, 11 MUSD/minute is spent on fossil fuel subsidies. We are heading towards a climate disaster, so why do we still subsidize the major cause of this disaster? In this first episode we discuss the impacts of fossil fuel subsidies, and look at what the money could be spent on instead, hearing from high-level speakers about the global situation and the opportunities that lie ahead if we bring them to a close.
