10 years after the Paris agreement, COP 30 marks another pivotal moment in international climate negotiations. In an instable geopolitical landscape, where climate action is under pressure, business voices and their support for ambitious climate targets are critical. Vattenfall is one of these voices. Together with Sweden’s climate ambassador and lead negotiator at COP30, Vattenfall’s Heads of Environment and Sustainability will address the challenges facing climate governance and the energy transition today and look into solutions and opportunities for climate action and European competitiveness.

Annika Ramsköld is Chief Sustainability Officer at Vattenfall. The past years she has been elected one of ”Sweden's Most Powerful People in Sustainability". Ramsköld has a Master of Science degree from KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm and has worked in Vattenfall for over 30 years with a wide range of assignments from R&D and business development to sales, trading, marketing and strategy within most parts of the organisation. Ramsköld holds, and has held, many board assignments as chair or board member and is active in industry associations, e.g. First Movers Coalition
Ambassador Frumerie is also Sweden's Head of Delegation to UNFCCC. Previous positions include head of EU policy, EU single market, Strategic communications, postings in Budapest and Brussels as well as EU advisor in the Prime Minister's Office.
